Loi Krathong 2014

Introduction Tour Pictures

One of the greatest, most renowned festivals on earth, Loi Krathong takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. People gathers to pray respect to the rivers and the gods of water. In Northern Thailand, the Loi Krathong festival also concides with Yi-Peng festivals, where not only “krathong” is floated in the river but also thousands of floating lanterns “kom loi” will lit up the sky.

Join us on our specially hand- cafted Loi Krathong trip to the North of Thailand. Our travel-back-in-time trip starts in Bangkok. We will visit the old markets to enjoy its culinary secrets. We will visit the most beautiful Buddha statue in Thailand. We will see the sights and sounds as well as discover the historical ruins of Sukhothai, thailand’s first capital city.
